Tom Stoye (b.1959) is an American photographer,
born and raised in Detroit, Michigan.
Tom’s primary interest in photography is using the camera as a narrative tool,
to tell stories derived from his own personal experiences.
His work primarily focuses on the people and environments of urban America,
and more frequently than not, his hometown of Detroit.
His photographs can be found in the collections of the Library of Congress and
the Detroit Institute of Arts.
